For this third assignment, I had to use the high poly method referencing Bastion from the video game Overwatch. However instead of following the exact proportions of the real deal, I instead "chibified" it to make it looks more interesting rather than just copying and pasting. I referenced the artwork from JohnPoliDora to be more accurate on how a super deformed Bastion would be like. The task to complete this as a very amateur-beginner level 3-D artist was quite the challenge for me which invited some problems later as I was still not used on how to properly organize my UV map which led to some blurriness in my textures and normals for Bastion, which is a lesson learned and will definitely not repeat in later assignments. I've also learned how to use Substance Painter which had a plethora of different realistic textures that I can apply to my model.
